Region STAR Events
Region STAR Events took place on Saturday, February 10th at Houston County High School in Warner Robins, GA. This was the first step for our STAR event competitors to present their STAR Event Projects to judges in hopes of advancing to the State Leadership Conference in Atlanta on March 9-11.

5 competitors advanced to the State Leadership Conference which will be held Friday-Sunday, March 9-11 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Alyssa C. and Krish P placed silver in the Focus on Children-Junior event.
Aiden H. placed silver in the Entrepreneurship-Junior event.
Sojourner C. and Grace F. placed silver in the Food Innovations-Junior event.
The competitors listed below competed at Region STAR events and barely missed the mark in advancing to SLC. We are very proud of their hard work and dedication!
Adeline S. placed bronze in the Career Investigation-Junior event.
Lydia M. placed bronze in the Chapter Service Project Portfolio-Junior event.

Fall Leadership Conference
Wednesday & Thursday, October 18-19, 2017 at Camp John Hope in Fort, Valley, GA
While attending the Georgia FCCLA Fall Leadership Conference, students had the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making and interpersonal communication necessary in the workforce. Activities at the conference included personal and professional development workshops, competitive events, a MUDDY obstacle course, and motivational general sessions.
The FCCLA Fall Leadership Conference for the 2018-2019 school year will be held on Wednesday & Thursday, September 12-13, 2018
at Camp John Hope in Fort Valley, Georgia

The goal is to develop your student chapter into a successful and effective team. All aspects of the program are flexible and can be tailored to your needs and goals.
